Bryant Park Kodaikanal
Bryant Park is one of the famous tourist places in Kodaikanal ( Princess of Hill Stations ). This Park is a botanical Park. During May month there is a flower show which is beautiful to our eyes. Also a good place for taking photos because you can see a variety of flowers, plants and trees in this place.
In Bryant Park, we got a knowledge of nature and natural species. The park also has a glass house with many fine varieties of flowers and plants.
During evening time you can visit this Bryant park. This time is the best time to visit. Great picnic spot to enjoy with family members.
Bryant Park is across 20.6 acres housing unique botanical species. You can see old eucalyptus trees, old bodhi trees, 85 varieties of flowering plants, 325 species of trees and many attractions are in this place.
The eucalyptus tree in India’s First Independence War in 1857 resides in the park. The greenhouse inside supports Classification of flowers, ferns and ornamental plants from all over the world.
This park is also home for an age old Bodhi tree which attracts the religious local people to this park. Bryant park is right next to the Kodaikanal lake which provides a very serene experience to the tourist people who visit Kodaikanal.
Bryant Park Annual Show
Every year in May (Season time), The park management hosts the Horticultural show. The main aim of this show is to make the people aware of the different types of plants, vegetables, flowers, shrubs and trees. Their basic requirements are to survive and how they can be maintained.
The Deputy Director of Horticulture is bringing a list of exotic plants and shrubs to be shown at the upcoming event. This show preparation is well maintained even temperatures are closely monitored by the staff. The staff is assigned to the plants and shrubs based on their complexity and section of the park. Many tourists, horticulture society and nature lovers come to see this show every year.

The park timing is 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The timing may vary during festival times. The park opens Monday to Sunday.
Bryant Park Kodaikanal Entry Fee
Bryant park kodaikanal entry fee: Entry fee for adults is 30 Rs. For Children, The fee is 15 Rs. If you have a camera then you need to pay for it. Still camera 50 Rs and Video Camera 100 Rs. Bryant park has two entrances. Tickets can be provided in both the entrances. Tickets can be checked at any time so keep it safe to avoid fine.
